<p><strong><u>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p> <ul type="disc"><li>With the Practice Leader, Litigation attorneys and the Director of Business Development, create, implement and measure effectiveness of a strategic business development plan intended to drive business and client development of Litigation on a national basis.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Create and be responsible for a budget in support of Litigations strategic business development and related marketing plans. Analyze and understand reasons for variance results.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Collaborate with Litigation and marketing professionals to produce client development seminars from inception to implementation including client feed-back analysis.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Research and evaluate speaking, sponsorship and membership affiliation opportunities to create branding and visibility appropriate with Litigation strategic business development plan and initiatives.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Understand and report on meaningful developments in targeted Litigation industry sectors that may result in development of new business opportunities or appropriate responses to competitor threats. </li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Working with Client Research, build and maintain a competitive information process and database regarding clients, prospects and legal industry participants to ensure Litigations continued effectiveness in the market place. <span> </span>This effort should be closely coordinated with other Practice Development Managers to ensure consistency of process across all practices.<span> </span></li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Edit and expedite production and delivery of high quality client communications and business development materials (including practice brochures, newsletters, client alerts, Litigation website and RFPs) across all offices where Litigation attorneys are located.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Participate in the development of a client satisfaction process to understand client perceptions and to recommend improvements based on those perceptions.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Prepare and refine proactive and consistent messaging through an agreed-upon media and public relations program that highlights practice-wide accomplishments.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Identify cross-selling opportunities with other core practice groups through collaboration with other Managers of Practice Development.</li></ul> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"><li>Continue to implement and manage Litigations CRM contact data base and become the practice advocate for increased attorney usage in close coordination with the Firm wide effort.</li></ul> <p> </p>
Job Requirements
<ul><li> Bachelors degree required; advanced degree a plus.</li><li> Prefer a minimum of 5 years of progressive strategic marketing experience in a professional services environment, preferably with a law firm. Litigation experience a plus.</li><li> Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills are required. Must demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion.</li><li> Proficiency in all MS Office products.</li><li> Client service orientation required coupled with excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills.</li></ul>
