<p>Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Content Manager is responsible for the management of the firms web sites and the administration of the web based technologies. He/she understands the principles of SEO and effectively manages the presence of the firm on the internet, driving traffic to the firms web sites and promoting the firm online. <br /> <br />The Content Manager understands database management. He/she has experience with electronic communications and has an appreciation for new tools and communications technology. He/she has strong project management and vendor management experience with at least 5 years in similar position. <br /> <br />This individual is independently driven, self-motivated and an effective team player. He/she will collaborate with the international marketing team, other staff and lawyers. He/she will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience negotiating projects and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders. <br />The individual will be able to multitask and function in a high pressure and fast paced environment. <br /> <br />Specific Responsibilities: <br /><ul><li>Manage the firms web sites - manage the relationship with the vendor, ensure the quality and accuracy of the site with regular audits, schedule regular updates, monitor the site usage and make recommendations for optimization. <br /></li><li>Drive traffic to the web site with cost effective online marketing tools such as banners, paid searches and others. <br /></li><li>Research best practices in B2B marketing communications, and make recommendations.</p></li></ul>
Job Requirements
<ul><li>Required Qualifications:</li><li>The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:</li><li> A college diploma or university degree with a focus on communications or marketing</li><li> Minimum of five years experience in marketing</li><li> Project management and vendor management skills</li><li> Fluency in French would be an asset, but is not required</li><li> Superior writing, editing and verbal communication skills</li><li> Excellent negotiation and relationship management ability</li><li> Strong technical skills - understanding of design, print and Web principles, and a high degree of computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office Suite applications)</li><li> Solid multi-tasking capabilities and attention to detail</li><li> Expertise in web-related technologies</li><li> Enjoy working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li></ul>
