<p>Reporting into the office Managing Partner and the Head of Business Development you will be responsible for driving the practice area business plans, coordinating pitch/proposal delivery and mentoring and developing a BD team. <br /> <br />Specific responsibilities will include: <br /> <br />Develop close working relationships with the partners in order to assist and guide their BD activities in an advisory capacity <br /> <br />Working with the Head of Business Development and partners, identify targets and assist with a range of lead generation activities <br /> <br />Develop practice area specific business plans, ensure objectives are met, encourage sharing of best-practice with regard to cross-selling and wider client relationship management <br /> <br />Support the account/relationship management activities of the relationship partners <br /> <br />Provide support, supervision and development opportunities for members of the BD team <br /> <br />Coordinate all requests for proposals and pitch compilation, development of a review process and communication of best-practice <br /> <br />Provide assistance with other projects and business development activities such as event management, seminar coordination and wider client interaction</p>
Job Requirements
<ul><li>Manager level experience, preferably working within a legal business development / marketing environment</li><li>Proficient in managing a team, mentoring and conducting reviews</li><li>Confident communicator, able to operate at all levels with internal and external parties</li><li>Strong corporate writing skills</li><li>Proactive manager, organised, thorough and able to prioritise and delegate, while working to tight deadlines</li></ul>
