<p class="MsoBodyText">Duties and responsibilities include: </p> <ul> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Assist Business Development & Marketing Manager in preparation, formatting, and proofreading of client newsletters, practice descriptions, and other internal and external documents.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Coordinate publication of blog posts and maintain related social media accounts.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Prepare, obtain approval for, and submit rankings submissions to publications including Chambers, Benchmark and Legal 500.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Assist in the maintenance of the website and InterAction CRM database.</span><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;"> <br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Working with the Marketing Manager to draft, edit and obtain approval for business development proposals and informational requests.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Assist on and attend client events, CLE, and other receptions.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Keep attorney resume information up-to-date. Assist in the writing and creation of attorney biographies whenever necessary.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Order firm gifts including: holiday gifts, attorney gifts requests throughout the year, and theater and sporting tickets.</span><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;"> </span><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Responsible for maintaining records of vendors and accounts, invoices and payment, and assisting attorneys as much as possible in the selection process.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Conduct business development research for attorneys and follow up on requests.<br /><br /></span></li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.5in;">Assist on any other marketing projects as needed.</span></li> </ul> <p class="MsoListBullet3" style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 6.0pt; margin-left: 1.0in; text-indent: -.5in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;"> </p>
Job Requirements
<ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree;<br /><br /></li> <li>Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills;<br /><br /></li> <li>Customer service orientation;<br /><br /></li> <li>Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and to meet deadlines;<br /><br /></li> <li>High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external clients;<br /><br /></li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign required, InterAction CRM system a plus;<br /><br /></li> <li>Good judgment and decision-making capabilities;<br /><br /></li> <li>Outstanding attention to detail and creativity;<br /><br /></li> <li>Flexibility and persistence; and<br /><br /></li> <li>Motivation and energy, the ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team, and the flexibility to work overtime when necessary.</li> </ul>
