Company Overview
Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP was founded in 1886 by a group of lawyers committed to excellence in the practice of law. Today, we remain dedicated to that fundamental principle. We have grown to be one of the largest law firms in the country, with more than 550 lawyers and twelve offices located throughout the mid-Atlantic corridor and the western United States. As a large, multi-practice, multi-regional law firm, we are able to combine a national scope of practice with strong local market knowledge to represent companies, individuals, and other entities in virtually every state and around the world. Our commitment to excellence is inseparable from our commitment to attract and retain lawyers, professionals and staff whose high standards exemplify the most diverse possible perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. We seek to reflect the racial, gender and ethnic diversity of the urban areas where we practice law, and the multicultural diversity that is the foundation of the global economy. In doing so we comply fully with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations that form the foundation not the ceiling of our diversity efforts. For more information, please view our Commitment to Diversity. At Ballard Spahr we strive to be an extraordinary law firm. We offer a full-service global practice with skilled, creative lawyers who provide clients with legal, business and strategic guidance customized to meet their needs.
