Job Description
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span>This position supports both the Marketing and Business Development Manager and the Professional Development and Attorney Employment Manager in their delivery of services to the firm, which include attorney and practice area business development and growth; and attorney hiring, development and retention.</span></p> <ul><li> <div class="MsoBodyText"><span> </span><span>Coordination and production of conferences and events<span> </span>(in-house and outside of the Firm), including on-site event support.</span></div> </li><li> <div class="MsoBodyText"><span>Support the creation and production of targeted client proposals, brochures, presentations, responses to RFPs, event invitations and advertising in both print and electronic formats.</span></div> </li><li> <div class="MsoBodyText"><span>Maintain files, databases and inventory, including proposal and attorney applicant databases and libraries and all promotional and collateral materials.</span></div> </li><li> <div class="MsoBodyText"><span>Track and maintain records for CLE attendance and credit.</span></div> </li><li> <div class="MsoBodyText"><span>Provide general administrative support to the Professional Development and Marketing Departments, including maintaining and tracking expense and reimbursement requests and assisting with travel arrangements.</span></div> </li></ul> <p> </p>
Job Requirements
<ul><li>Candidate must have solid writing and proofreading skills, as well as strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a deadline driven environment, have the ability to handle and prioritize multiple ongoing projects using existing resources, and work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of desktop publishing is required.</li><li>Experience with recruiting software a strong plus.</li><li>Flexibility with schedule is a must as overtime may be required to meet deadlines.</li><li>A Bachelors degree is preferred.</li><li>Experience in a support position in a professional services environment is a plus.</li></ul>
