<p class="Normal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt;"><strong>Job Description:</strong> You will report to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with seven other team members. Our team structure fosters collaboration and mutual support between team members with a keen focus on productivity, accountability, creativity, and high-performance. We provide seamless service to firm attorneys, with a focus on quality, innovation and responsiveness. We are looking for a self-starter, with good judgment and someone dedicated to a career in professional services.</p> <ul> <li>Support across all areas of marketing and business development as will be a part of a strategic effort to grow the firm's ever-expanding client base.</li> <li><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Serve as lead contact on incoming projects and as project manager from conception to follow-through to ensure efficiency and quality.</span></li> <li>Oversee the firm's internal and external events, including budgeting and strategy.</li> <li>Manage and negotiate sponsorships with various partner organizations, including budget implications.</li> <li>Manage database of current/prospective clients and connect lawyers to create cross-selling opportunities.</li> <li>Coordinate all aspects of practice group and client team business development meetings. Prepare and circulate relevant pre/post meeting materials.</li> <li><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Partner with section leadership to identify the need for specific company, client, competitor and industry trends research using the firm’s research tools and internal databases. Liaison with the firm's Library on research projects.</span></li> <li>Manage the overall content on the firm's website and social media outlets to ensure proper messaging and compliance with content strategy.</li> <li>Produce client-facing client presentations, including proofreading, formatting, editing, printing, binding and delivery.</li> <li>Develop and maintain marketing collateral including practice descriptions, brochures, PowerPoint templates, accolade summaries and attorney biographies. Also assist with the production of firm publications, authored by attorneys.</li> <li>Prepare and develop internal newsletters and assist with external client communications.</li> <li>Leverage collected experience by coordinating distribution of information through multiple communications channels, e.g., website, press releases, social media, and directory submissions.</li> <li>Manage the firm's creative content (ads, videos, etc.) to ensure the firm's brand is always on target.</li> <li>Manage survey responses and award submissions.</li> <li>Manage relationship with the firm's PR firm and ensure timely responses to requests for interviews and authored content.</li> <li>Manage relationships, deliverables and strategies for the firm's three referral network organizations.</li> <li>Proofread all content coming out of marketing department.</li> <li>Manage new attorney orientations and other on-boarding efforts.</li> <li>Liase with other firm departments on projects as needed.</li> </ul>

<p class="Normal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Required Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Client service is a core value of the firm and a strong emphasis will be placed on this at all times; the Marketing Manager must emulate this characteristic, both to the firm’s external clients and also to the internal stakeholders</li> <li>Ability to motivate and inspire a talented team of individuals while encouraging continuous education to ensure team is on top of the emerging trends and new technological developments in the legal industry</li> <li><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with high-level attorneys, staff and guests of the firm</span></li> <li>Ability to work independently while making intelligent, informed decisions; quality work (often in high-pressure and deadline-driven scenarios) is expected so you need to be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively</li> <li>Strong project management skills</li> <li>Ability to handle ambiguity, influence others and find ways to move initiatives forward to meet critical deadlines and produce results</li> <li>Meticulous writing and proofing skills</li> <li>Exceptional PowerPoint skills; experience with SmartSheet and InterAction a plus</li> <li>General facility for learning new software</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>Five to seven years’ experience in a professional services environment</li> </ul>
