<p>Oversee the Marketing Team (three direct reports); enhance/maintain the Firm's reputation as a leader in the field of plaintiffs litigation, and develop and implment ideas to further its marketing and business development efforts.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage internal and external communications (traditional and digital marketing). Pitch thought leadership pieces for publication, conference appearances, and attorneys as experts for commentary. </li> <li>Responsible for creation and maintenance of Firm's marketing collateral, including overseeing all online content and design, ensuring it always stays relevant and up to date.</li> <li>Generate ideas for and spearhear planning of client-facing events for the Firm (e.g. webinars and on-site events).</li> <li>Oversee strategy and execution of award submissions (e.g. Chambers, Legal 500, Benchmark, Law360, etc.)</li> <li>Work closely with RFP Team on responses to RFPs and create client proposals/pitches for Client Development Group.</li> <li>Conduct marketing research to stay ahead of industry trends, and liaise with the Client/Case Development Groups to develop content for marketing materials and proposals.</li> <li>Work in tandem with the HR department and leadership to enhance recruitment efforts, as well as further develop firm's diversity and inclusion efforts and initiatives.</li> <li>Responsible for numerous standalone projects within the department and as given by Executive Committee and COO.</li> <li>Responsible for the professional development of the Marketing Team.</li> </ul>
Job Requirements
<p>Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred (business admin, communications or marketing major preferred).</li> <li>Minimum 10 years' experience or equivalent in a professional services or professional services environment focusing on marketing and/or business development.</li> <li>Law firm or legal-related experience preferred but not mandatory.</li> <li>Strong leadership abilities, people and project management skills, and an ability to identify and implement creative solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations, systems and procedures. </li> <li>Superior oral and written communication skills in addition to strong editing skills.</li> </ul>
